Powerplay Team Sports
I have been instrumental in working alongside the original developer and then becoming lead developer for Powerplay, one of the largest five-a-side sports companies in the United Kingdom. My work has involved developing some of the front end site, rewriting much of the backend adminstration system, writing reports, backend reports, administrating multiple servers and a complete, complex payment systems to interact with Opayo (Sagepay) using the new PSD 2 payment services.
I have also worked with the Powerplay staff solving support tickets.

This fascinating academic site has allowed me to develop new skills such as an advanced and very fast indexing system. Modern universities have complex data-retrieval system for linking to scholarly literature. For instance, I have developed software to integrate the LE systems with OpenURL. I have found these technologies fascinating to develop.
